A hardier and more vigorous plant than French tarragon, Russian tarragon produces attractive, aromatic foliage.

- Sow seeds thinly on the surface of moist compost and do not cover. Place somewhere warm and light.
- Keep the compost damp and seeds should germinate in 14-28 days.
- Transplant seedlings to larger pots as they grow.
- Harden off and plant outside once all risk of frost has passed, at a spacing of 45cm (18").
